Skills post-searing
Thanks for taking the time to read this noob question! hehe
I, like so many others, jumped at the chance to take the quest from the Prince, not realizing (yeah I know it said you can't return - but I'm slow) that it was a one way ticket. I had quests in my log for certian Warrior skills that are no longer there. Since I can't return to pre-searing, are ALL the skills available to be puchased or quested for in post-searing? Don't wanna gimp myself early on (only level 7 so far). Thanks in advance for any help! Loving the game thus far! |

I think aquiring some of the skills you missed from pre-searing will take some more time I'd restart the character if you're missing alot.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I haven't exactly spent endless hours yet, hehe.
Wondering though, if I delete my character, hopefully I will be able to get the same name back immediately. Any one else have any thoughts? |

you get a 30 min grace period before the name can be taken again.
I got 4 or 5 skills in pre-searing, and didnt have a problem getting to lvl 17...there are pleanty of skill quest to do post-academy. |

Well, I believe all of the skills available in pre-searing can be bought from the skill trainer in post-searing Ascalon City. The only real advantage to getting them in pre-searing is that you'll get them for free rather than having them cost you gold and a skill point.

You can buy them from a skill trainer for 1 skill point each. When you talk to the skill trainer you can see how many skill points you have. Hitting the H key brings up your attributes listing and your skill points are shown there also.

The rewards for many of the quests in post-seared Tyria have skills pertaining to your professions included in them, so you may get what you want over time. It'll just be a little more difficult getting them.
